As a start (May 2024) we have the Maths requirements for A Level Biology.

A good familiarity with, and confidence in, a few key mathematical techniques is hugely useful for studying Biology and for those who work in Biological fields.

It can seem like an unwelcome distraction but it really does save time and effort in the long run and makes us better biologists.

Also, 10% of the marks in the A Level Biology exams test these maths skills!
